Pluto Retrograde in Aquarius
★ may 6 – october 15

Pluto has been moving through Aquarius since November 2024 — a nearly two-decade transit reshaping how power flows through technology, community, and the stories we tell about progress. Now in retrograde until October 15, that transformation turns inward. This isn't external chaos — it's an underground current pulling old fears, control patterns, and inherited narratives up to the surface to finally be examined. Where have you abandoned your own knowing to stay acceptable? Where have you given your power to a screen, a crowd, or a version of yourself built to survive belonging? This retrograde doesn't ask you to have answers. It asks you to stop pretending the questions don't exist.

Neptune Retrograde in Aries
july 7 – december 12

Neptune stations retrograde today at 4° Aries and won't turn direct again until December 12. Neptune is the planet of dreams, illusion, and soft-focus longing — when it's direct, everything gets a hazy, romantic glow. Retrograde, that spell lifts. You start seeing situations, people, and yourself as they actually are instead of how you wished they were. It can feel disillusioning at first, but it's really an invitation to check your visions against reality and keep only what's genuinely yours. To stay grounded through it: get back in your body before you get back in your head — movement, food, sleep, the boring maintenance stuff. Notice where you've been romanticizing a person, a project, or a version of yourself, and ask what's true underneath the glow. Keep a small ritual or routine that has nothing to do with escaping — journaling, a walk, time with people who see you clearly. Neptune retrograde isn't punishing you. It's clearing the fog so what you build next is real, not just beautiful.

Mercury in Cancer
until august · retrograde june 29

The mind turns inward and emotional. Mercury in Cancer softens how we speak and listen — communication becomes more intuitive, more feeling-based, less linear. Writing, journaling, and heart-to-heart conversations all flow more easily right now. Heads up: Mercury goes retrograde on June 29 in Cancer. Back up your files, slow down on big decisions, and revisit old creative projects that deserve a second look.

Saturn Retrograde in Aries (Upcoming)
★ july 26 – december 10

Saturn stations retrograde on July 26 in Aries and won't turn direct again until December 10th. Saturn is all about structure, discipline, boundaries, and the long game; astrologers actually consider it the one planet that gets stronger, not weaker, in retrograde, because all that Saturnian rigor turns inward instead of outward. In Aries specifically, the audit is personal: courage, self-assertion, and where you've either over-committed to things nobody actually asked you to carry, or quietly avoided a responsibility you keep circling instead of facing. To work with it instead of white-knuckling through it: don't launch anything huge during this window instead, use it to refine and reinforce what you've already built instead. When you hit friction or delay, treat it as information, not punishment; ask what it's actually asking you to fix. Get concrete about your boundaries in writing if you have to, Saturn responds to structure, not vibes (unfortunately) Lastly, give yourself real credit for the boring, unglamorous effort, because that's exactly what this transit rewards once it lifts.

Fathom upon this column written for Mercuri’s cunty magazine

Welcome to Berry’s little Dreamland in Mercuri’s orbit! So nice to have you readers here. Today I feel most especially like an alchemist. I’m not sure if it’s the astrological changes that just took place (Jupiter in Leo, Mercury RX, Uranus-Mars in Gemini, etc.) or what, but I am feeling electrically charged and ready for whatever is coming next. Human beings are, as we all know, electrically powered creatures.

Lately, my own internal wiring has been undergoing a massive, high-voltage overhaul. Transmuting heavy energy into something beautiful is the core work of an alchemist, but let’s be real, the process itself is messy. Stepping through rapid life changes feels a lot like navigating a neon-lit, noir landscape: mysterious, slightly chaotic, slightly dangerous, and filled with shadows of old habits I’m forced to leave behind. It hasn’t been easy to keep my footing while the cosmic floor shifts, yet instead of panicking, I’ve found myself wrapped in a weird, unshakeable sense of peace. (GOD DID)

When you’re floating out here in the creative stratosphere, you realize that true transformation requires you to be both the scientist and the subject. Lately, my studio time has felt less like songwriting and more like capturing lightning in a bottle. Every lyric I draft, every visual I conceptualize, and every conversation I log feels hyper-stimulated by this new cosmic frequency. It’s like the universe handed us a blank canvas, painted it with starlight, and told us to start screaming our truths into the microphone.

There’s a strange, magnetic pull that happens when you decide to fully align with your future self. You start shedding the people, the places, and the versions of you that were only meant to be temporary chapters. Out here in the quiet spaces between who I was and who I am becoming, I’m learning that the static of the unknown isn’t white noise, it's a brand-new soundtrack waiting to be arranged. It’s the sound of stepping into a higher vibration, where modern love, futuristic dreaming, and deep, soulful alignment finally get to take center stage.

So, to anyone else currently watching their old foundations dissolve into stardust: let it happen. The universe isn't trying to break you down; it's trying to upgrade your entire operating system so you can handle the blessings that are about to drop. We are building empires out of our wildest imaginations right now, and the coordinates are locked in.

It is a strange thing to feel entirely grounded while your world is being reconfigured. I’ve realized that staying positive doesn’t mean ignoring the dark but trusting that the current friction is just a necessary spark to light up what’s next for me. As the shadows stretch, I’m choosing to lean into the mystery, holding onto my inner stillness like a heart compass. We are all walking alchemists (good and bad), and right now, I'm just enjoying the beautiful, unpredictable art of turning my raw seeds into diamonds.

To Confront the Shadow is to Show the Light

Today's journal entry from the book "Shadow Growth Journal" prompts us to dive into the quote, "To confront a person with his shadow is to show him his own light." Yes, sorry, another quote by musty Jung.

Wow, this one really made me think for a whole 20 seconds. For the first 10 seconds, I was a bit confused, but then I remembered an ethical practice in medicine called motivational interviewing (Motivational interviewing (MI) is a collaborative, goal-oriented counseling style used to resolve ambivalence and strengthen a person's intrinsic motivation for change- Google) For example, if a patient comes in who has an alcohol addiction and a failing liver, instead of the practitioner giving tough love advice to the patient they would make the patient come to the right conclusion all on thier own. The practitioner would say, "If you stopped drinking today, what positive gains would you gain immediately and long term?" instead of "If you don't stop drinking now, your liver will fail." Do you get it, reader? I'm sure you do. It's basically reverse psychology. Now back to the quote. Is it possible to confront a person about their shadow using their light? I would say yes. It sounds counterintuitive and backwards, but when you really think about the makeup of human beings, it works. It's a way to address the negative sides of a person by using their positive sides.

Human beings are naturally selfish and self-absorbed. Some more than others, but it's a trait that everyone carries in our DNA. Hence why God sent his only begotten son to die for our sins and all that. Psychologists in the 1980s knew this about people and knew about the egos we carry. They found that a patient at risk of liver disease responded more to their own reasoning rather than to that of a trusted professional. Honestly, I've never been one to get told what to do. It's actually one of my biggest pet peeves. But I have always valued the opinions of my loved ones, but I have always valued my opinion more. The same is likely true for you, reader. (ear candy playing, don't you see yourself in me right as I wrote that last line) Motivational interviewing would 100% work on me if I could feel like I came to a big brain conclusion to stop drinking excessively all by myself for reasons I came up with rather than a doctor telling me in their fancy white coats and shii.

When people get a glimpse of their own light, something changes on the inside. It's like a neural pathway awakening and lighting up within them. It's actually beautiful. Additionally, true transformation comes from awareness and action. What a person is not aware of, they cannot change, nor will they have a drive to change it. Cause and Effect in play here. Something interesting about humans is the ability to lie to ourselves. (I'm totally also a human) But that ability thins over time as more light awakens within them. The shadows essentially become impossible to ignore. And if they were to try to ignore the shadow or push it away, it would eat at them over time. And that is not the people you want to be close with, reader, because they will eat at you in return in a desperate attempt to refill their draining cup. Imagine living in a cage of your own mind. Hell nahh. Real freedom comes from courage.

Who Looks Inside, Awakes

Today's journal entry from the book "Shadow Growth Journal" prompts us to dive into the quote, "Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes." Now, truthfully, this quote is by Carl Jung, but we don't support his musty-looking self.

I'm not quite sure yet how to feel or respond to this message. A part of me wants to agree instantly, but the other part of me wants to question it and pick it apart with pure reason. There are so many low vibrational people on the planet who have very clear visions of what they want and can achieve them without taking one step toward their own hearts. (My computer is currently overheating. I'm using my shitty Dell XPS, it's always acting like it wants to take off into space) Let's take Elon Musk as an example. When we think of him, do we picture an individual who looks into his heart and values compassion? Hell nah. Yet he's recently become the world's first trillionaire. He is someone anyone can agree had a clear vision of what he wanted to build. We've watched him introduce and launch countless products, businesses, and billion-dollar companies for years. Okay, enough talk of Elon. Gross. But I hope you, the reader, get the gist.

Right now, though, for me, externally, I am nothing but a commoner. But I feel far from that internally. Internally, I am everything. I am an intergalactic being with powers. I am a light being with connections to the cosmos. I am Berry, living in my dreamland. (This laptop is burning my legs) So in a way, I do also agree with the quote. Internally, my world is a dream. It's literally in my name. (Dang, this is starting to feel fated nglll. What a coincidental first entry to my website. P.S. These parentheses are my thoughts interrupting my other thoughts. You will soon learn I'm kind of neurodivergent.)

If how I feel on the inside is merely a dream, what value does that equate to my current reality? Is life still really worth continuing if we never reach the state of mind we feel we need and deserve? Now I know what you're thinking. "Is this b**ch suicidal?" Nahh, I am not, I promise. I'm just dramatic. But think about it, though. The truth is, most human beings spend their lives just dreaming, wishing, and hoping for a life they deserve, but most never reach that state. This is why I know and believe that Earth is simply a lower form of hell. Starting to get the whole intergalactic being thing now ehh??

True freedom starts in the mind, and as I am writing this now, I realize that I, in fact, do agree wholeheartedly with the quote. (We still don't support Jung, but unforch that's what my journal book asked me) The question I now have is, how long is that going to takeee?? Like I want my "perfect life" right noww. What do I have to do to get my perfect life fr? Earth sometimes feels like a trap. There are so many situations left and right that are always looking to drag you down into a low vibrational state. The way I have found to combat that is to retreat within me.

The water bearer pours into others, but real transformation comes when she pours into herself. I've recently re-locked in with myself, actually. I've been working out again, experimenting, creating more than I consume. However, once again, there are numerous obstacles ready to deter me from my goals. But still I prevail, and so should you, reader.
